Fourth Week: It Gets Worse

This week passed by pretty slowly, and my virtues have been going up and down in only five days. First off, my stress level still remains low, mainly now because we were given so much homework for the weekend. Anyways, another bad circumstance that I had to deal through this week was the fact that I got a “c” on my history homework. This lowered my self-confidence a bit because I worked hard to add as much detail as possible, and I was very certain, and pleased with the answers I provided. I guess that was not enough to satisfy my teacher’s requirements. The only good happenings raised both my shyness and confidence at the same time. During Ethics, we were asked a certain question, but nobody new answered, including me (I was too shy to raise my hand). So, as a result, our teacher randomly picked a student, and lucky me, I was the winner. At that moment, I had to put my shyness aside, and answer based off what I learned, even if it was not right, since I had no choice. I hope you enjoyed, and feel free to leave some comments below.

  1. Hey Kate, great job! Don’t worry about the grade you got in the history homework. Instead, use it as motivation to improve yourself the next time we get a similar homework. Also, I think you had a great answer to the question in our Ethics class. Next time an opportunity comes to be confident instead of shy, take it. Even though you might get the question wrong, at least you know you tried and overcame your fear. You can also get feedback on how you need to improve your answer. Good job this week and I hope you continue to improve! :)
