Third Week: The Stress Overload

It has only been the third week for this experiment, and I’m already developing so much stress. This week, my relaxation level has dropped down into the center of the Earth. The homework given to me was not the core of the problem, it was the amount of quizzes. I am fine with having exams dispersed throughout the weeks, because it shows how much we’ve learned over some of time. However, having all the quizzes bundled up in a spam of two days creates strain. I know High school is meant to be more challenging, and I have to face the facts that this is how it’s going to be throughout the years. Anyways, I studied a whole lot this week, and I got over with it. I was able to comprehend most of the content in each test, but some things were a bit troublesome. On the other hand, as for dauntlessness, I had to present in front of the whole class for two of my subjects. This was actually not that bad because they were both group presentations, and we all collaborated to read. I was slightly shy, but I was able to read clearly without shaking.

  1. Hey Kate. I feel the same way about this week as you do. My stress has been maximized to an extreme level and I haven't been able to concentrate directly on my virtues as I did in other weeks. Overtime, i'm guessing we will be able to manage both things at the same time. Anyways, keep working on your virtues and i'm sure you will able to succeed in becoming a better person.

  2. Hi Kate, I totally feel you. Exams being dispersed is a good thing but like 10 quizzes in 3 days is a lot of stress. However, you did seem to handle it pretty well and your post was a good reflection of your week. Also, don't worry about being shy you were really good in all of our group presentations. Since I have the same problem as you in dealing with stress, I guess we have to come up with something for that. Let's see how the next week treats us and I hope you continue achieving your virtues!
